- Customers have to register for “Free Transmission Protection Warranty” on the BookMyGarrage App/Web App with Rs. 99 registration Charges.
- “Free Transmission Protection Warranty” is provided to both private vehicles and Commercial Vehicles from the year of 2014 and above models only.
- Transmission Warranty Coverage Period: Warranty Eligible kilometres starts from 19000 kilometres to 150000 kilometres for four wheeler Private Vehicle Customers and 19000 kilometres to 120000 kilometres for four wheeler commercial vehicle customers.
- Procedure for activating “Free Transmission Protection Warranty”
- Customers have to Book Transmission Inspection through BookMyGarrage App /WebApp at least a day before with applicable prepaid inspection charges
- Post the Inspection of the vehicle, BMG will Provide “Transmission Inspection Report”
- BookMyGarrage will affix a “ Warranty Sticker” inside on the windshield
- BookMyGarrage will affix a “ BMG Emblem Sticker '' to protect the warranty wherever necessary.
- If the Vehicle is eligible for the “Free Transmission Protection Warranty” then to activate the offer customers have use BookMyGarrage services worth (any sort of services like, Mechanical, Painting,Detailing, AC, Electrical, Clutch,Suspension work, upholstery, Cashless Insurance, Accidental Insurance,Tyres Replacement)
- Rs.19,999 or above for HatchBack Vehicles
- Rs.24,999 or above for Sedan Vehicles
- Rs.29,999 or above for MPV Vehicles
- Rs.34,999 or above for SUV Vehicles
- Rs.39,999 or above for Luxury Vehicles
- Any customer reaching the above mentioned service threshold “Free Transmission Protection Warranty” will be activated for a period of 3 years from the date activation or 80000 kilometres whichever is early.
- Natural calamities like vehicle draining due to flood or heavy rain, accidental Transmission damage or external hit damage, and negligible/poor maintenance will not be covered under this warranty.
- Any Trouble while driving customers are requested to report immediately to BookMyGarrage Customer care.
- Schedule Annual Transmission Inspections : It is also advisable to schedule annual inspections and your car as a whole. This will help identify potential problems before they get worse.
- Have the Transmission Flushed regularly : The Fluid in your car’s transmission system has a limited life expectancy. It Collects dirt over time, reducing its efficiency and making it a liability for the engine. As such, it should be flushed and changed every year or 25000 kilometres whichever is early. Service Charges are applicable.
- Covered components include for Manual Transmission : Gears, Shaft, Synchromesh Hubs, Selectros, Bearings and Transfer Gears.
- Covered components include for Automatic Transmission: Gears, Shaft, Brake/Clutch Bands, Oil Pump, Bearings, Bushes, Valves, Drive Plates, Transfer Gears, Transmission Gears
- Not Covered Under the Warranty : Labour Charges, Consumables, Lubricants and Towing charges
- The customer has to make the payment digitally only; no cash payment will be accepted.
- Free Transmission Protection warranty for all the brands that are available on the App/Website.
