- BookMyGarrage will conduct the Engine Inspection manually and technically, along with a limited 5 kilometers of Test Drive with the Dealer.
- Post the Engine Inspection, BookMyGarrage will Provide a Digital “Inspection Certified Copy” along with a Scanning report to the dealer. After receiving the “Inspection Certified Copy” the dealer can provide a “Free Engine Protection Warranty” to their buying customer for up to 180,000 kilometers from the date of purchase.
- BookMyGarrage will affix a “Certified Sticker” inside on the windshield.
- BookMyGarrage will affix “BMG Emblem Stickers” to protect the warranty wherever necessary.
- The pre-owned car dealer must provide space for a banner hoarding.
- Inspection Charges will be applicable.
- Post Engine inspection, BookMyGarrage will provide the Inspection Report to the Dealer.
- To activate the “Free Engine Protection Warranty” the Dealer or Customer has to undergo one PMS (Preventive Maintenance Service) from BookMyGarrage.
- Covered Components: Connecting Rods, Oil Pump, Inlet & Exhaust Valves, Cylinder Head, Timing Gears, Crankshaft & Pulley, Big End & Main Bearings, Gudgeon Pins, Piston & Rings, Inlet & Exhaust Valves (Excluding Burnt & Pitted Valves), Spring & guides, Cylinder Block, Cam Shaft, Rocker Arms, Shaft, Tensioner Bearings, Water Pump (Failure Due to External damage or corrosion is not covered).
- Post activation of the “Free Engine Protection Warranty” customers have to visit BookMyGarrage only for every PMS.
- Maintenance Required for Claiming the Warranty: Warranties often require following the warranty provider's recommended maintenance schedule, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine general check-ups & services from the BookMyGarrage Authorized Service Partners (ASP) only, every 8,000 kilometers or 9 months, whichever is earlier for four-wheelers.
- Every PMS customer has to book a slot at least a day before for a better service experience.
